The Office for Film, Newspaper and Article Administration (OFNAA) launched a new online complaint e-form today (19 June) as an additional and optional channel to facilitate members of the public to work with the Government in combating harmful materials.

Members of the public can now lodge complaints against obscene and indecent articles through the online complaint e-form, making the process convenient and efficient, and helping OFNAA to follow up related complaints in an effective manner. In addition to the above-mentioned online complaint e-form, members of the public can continue to use other channels, including email, phone, postal mail, fax and the 1823 hotline to lodge complaints and enquiries to relevant departments against obscene and indecent articles. Upon receipt of complaints, OFNAA will handle them in accordance with the established procedures and respond to the relevant individuals or organisations.

OFNAA also encourages members of the public to directly report obscene or indecent articles on the Internet to the respective platforms for immediate follow-up and handling.
