1. Objective

The Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance (Chapter 390) (COIAO) regulates the publication of obscene and indecent articles. In order to promote the awareness of the COIAO among teenagers and children and to protect them from the adverse effect of obscene and indecent articles, the Spring-Time Experimental Theatre has been commissioned to conduct a roving drama for schools to help promote the message of “Healthy Information for a Healthy Mind”.

2. Theme of the Drama

The theme of the drama is "Healthy Information for a Healthy Mind".

3. Target

The programme is targeted at primary and secondary school students. Different scripts shall be adopted for performances for primary and secondary schools. Schools may select performance in Cantonese or English.

4. Synopsis and Other Performance-related Matters

Synopsis (2019-2020)
Each performance lasts for about 35 minutes. The Cantonese performances shall be performed by four actors to be supported by three technicians and the English performances by four actors and four technicians.

Performances are generally arranged in the daytime on weekdays at schools. Only under exceptional circumstances will a performance be arranged at night, on Saturdays or Sundays. No change of performance time is allowed after confirmation.

A performance will be cancelled if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect three hours before the commencement time.

5. Fees

No charge will be levied. Shools are not allowed to charge any fee for the performances.

From September 2010 to August 2019, about 1700 performances have been conducted.
