Terms and conditions:
1. Participants of the "Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance" Slogan and Colouring Competition 2026-27 (hereafter referred to as the “Competition”) must be primary or secondary school students in Hong Kong during the 2026-2027 academic year.
2. Participants may join in any or two competitions. Each participant can submit one entry form only.
3. The theme for the Slogan and Colouring Competition is "齊來拒絕不良資訊" (Chinese Only).
4. The entry must be original and comply with the theme of the Competition. Plagiarism and AI-generated content is strictly prohibited. It shall not contain any inappropriate content, and do not violate the laws of the HKSAR and constitute or cause danger to national security, and have never entered other competitions or been published at other platforms or events.
5. For the Colouring Competition, please use the picture on the back of application form. There is no restriction on the use of colouring materials but digital painting or use of AI is not permitted.
6. For the Slogan Competition, please use the space provided in the application form. No more than 30 words shall be used, excluding punctuation marks.
7. Participants have to provide complete and correct personal particulars or they may be disqualified.
8. Participants aged under 18 must obtain consent from their parents or guardians to participate in the Competition and submit their entries through their school teachers, parents or guardians.
9. The Office for Film, Newspaper and Article Administration (OFNAA) has the right to edit, modify, duplicate, publish and use the entries for exhibition, educational or promotional purposes, without obtaining prior permission from the participant and without offering any compensation in any form to the participant, and have the right to make the final decision on the above actions.
10. Participants must agree to unconditionally assign and transfer to OFNAA any intellectual property rights subsisting in the entries submitted for the Competition. OFNAA will not return the entries to the participants.
11. Personal data provided by the participants will only be used for purposes related to the Competition. Personal data which is no longer required will be destroyed 12 months after the completion of the Competition.
12. The prizes must be collected within the designated period and will be deemed invalid and forfeited upon expiry.
13. Participants (including the participants’ parents, guardians and/or teachers) must understand and agree to the terms and conditions of the Competition. If a participant is found non-compliance of any Terms and Conditions of the Competition, OFNAA reserves the right to disqualify the participant. In case of any dispute, the determination of OFNAA shall be final.
14. Decision of the adjudicating panel and the Organiser is final. OFNAA reserve the right to interpret and revise the Terms and Conditions of the Competition and all other Terms and Conditions set out in the application form. No objection and appeal will be entertained.
15. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version of the Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
Prizes
The prizes for each competition are as follows:
- Champion – A trophy and a book coupon worth HK$1,500
- First runner-up – A trophy and a book coupon worth HK$1,200
- Second runner-up – A trophy and a book coupon worth HK$800
- 10 Distinguished prizes – A certificate and a book coupon worth HK$300
- Merit awards – A certificate and souvenir
Submission deadline:
22 January 2027.
Participant may submit his / her entry by post to Hong Kong Chinese Culture Development Association (Address: Room 2107, Midas Plaza, 1 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon. Please mark “Slogan and Colouring Competition” on the envelope.) before the submission deadline. The postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the submission date. Late submission will not be considered.
